Dream of: 14 January 2020 "Blue Monster"

I am lying on my back in a bed. My brother Chris (1957-1974) is lying immediately to my left by my shoulder. My sister is lying below Chris in the area of my waist. Another person is lying below my sister in the area of my legs. All three persons are probably 10-12 years old.

I have been told of a creature which sometimes appears. It was described as a blue, bubbly type of thing, something like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. It is night. The others all go to sleep. I think the creature is coming into the room, and I start making the "Ohm" sound to try to drive off the creature.

Suddenly I realize that Chris has disappeared and I suspect that the creature has taken him away. I do not know what to do. I actually rise up in my bed with my eyes open, and turn on the real light, even though I am still dreaming. I see that no one is lying next to me and I am concerned about what happed to the others. I try to figure out what to do because apparently the creature has taken them.

Suddenly, my pet Pomeranian jumps on the bed, and I abruptly realize that I am awake and that no one else was with me in the bed to begin with because I had been dreaming.

Commentary of 16 January 2020

I do not remember having ever been in a dream where I was using my actual body to this extent, although I have several times experienced trying to climb out of bed while I was dreaming. This is clearly an early stage of "sleep walking."

monsters are meant to

be conquered by true heroes

in soul and deed
